Loc: St. Louis burbs, but originally Chicago burbs
I would. Autogiros are super popular in Europe. They're more stable in rougher air than something like a 152, can turn on a dime and land in nothing flat. I've never been in one, though. Some aircraft of similar design flew the very first airmail services. At a local light sport show at an airport about an hour from me had some for sale and I went to a travelogue of a guy who went on a long XC in one (halfway across the country). They don't have the range of an airplane, but with the vibrations of a helicopter you wouldn't want to sit in one for hours at a time!
