Thanks for the visit and comments Mike. We had a two-toned Ford that looked a lot like the one I posted except it was tan and white, a '56, I think. It was the first new car I remember my dad buying, and it was before seat belts.

Thanks Frank. Many of the cars were too close for good shots so I took photos of grills. We arrived about 45 mins. before the event ended, so the crowds had cleared out some.

Thank you Jerry. I didn't even notice that sign until I started editing, and I drive down this street once or twice a week. Guess I'll have to check it out. Restaurants come and go in this town.

Thanks Corkey. My dad had a '56 or '57, so I tend to pay a little closer attention to those years when they show up. It was fun seeing what people brought to this show and how they'd renovated them. The paint jobs were amazing.

Yes, they certainly could have packed more in I think. Some had left by the time I'd gotten there, too, and the crowds had diminished.
