Fascinating series of images. I wish that we would have had enough time in Silverton to explore some of these side streets. It's kind of reassuring to see that some these old houses and buildings have withstood the many years of harsh winters. They were obviously built to last.

We are doing fine, no serious flooding in our immediate area of SW Houston. We feel very fortunate/blessed as we watch nonstop news coverage of flooding in other areas around the city. Although flooding is all too common in this area, the scale of this event is truly unprecedented.
