Do any of you Sony A6000 owners have trouble removing the SD card? Although it pops up, there is no room for fingers. Maybe Sony should install a much stronger spring (
) or supply little tweezers.
I use my index finger and thumb to ease it out. So far, no problems. I think it all depends on the size of your hands. Small tweezers with flat pads should work fine.

Maybe that's the problem. I have small fingers.
The only way I can remove the card is by gripping the edges.
Jerry you are so right. I have the 6000 & 6300 and it is hard to remove the card. Just tried it on 6300 if you push down the
card sort of pops up. Then 2 fingers as pincers works. Not a great design but this camera has amazed me by its imagery.

I used the tweezers from my Swiss Army knife.

That's why I like my Eye-Fi cards.
I also own a A6000, and the card removal is indeed a problem. My solution is Cellotape a small "lead" to the card, and the problem goes away. Still it is dumb of Sony to make such a camera, and neglect to place the card slot in a better accessible place.

I do have the same problem and started taking a pair of tweezers with me.

I agree, to save the card flying thru the air. I do not have dainty digits, I try to open the card door and cover the area with my hand so if the card is ejected it's should be ejected into the palm of my hand. I have resorted to using the pliers on a multi tool after it has been initially released. I am usually far more careful outdoor. The worst thing is even inside the majority color of the the cards is black. The default color of so many accessories today is black.

Yes, difficult. SD card placement is one thing I do not like about the Sony a6000.
Same with the 6500. The only fault i can think of.
When I first got the Sony a6000, I read a tip to put a small piece of tape extending over the top. I have done it and it works great to get the memory card out.
:)
I have the 6500- same problem. I carry tweezers with me in my camera bag. It's the only problem with the 6500 so far.
