When we were in Canada last month, I was delighted to find this old home sitting on the edge of the field. I'm new to this so your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hope you enjoyed your visit with us in Canada. I am a beginner also and I really like these. Something magical about old barns isn't there.

We had a great time, thanks! Actually, this is an old house . . . not sure whether it would have been for Aboriginals or early homesteaders. We were north of Jack Fish Lake.

I totally agree. I think the composition is much better in the first. I was trying to pay attention to the "rule of thirds" in the second one and it didn't quite work out!
