It's a 24-70mm Jerry, not 28-70mm.

If I decide to keep my D750, I would consider this lens over the two current flavors of the Nikon 24-70. I know the non-VR version of this Nikon lens has been the staple for wedding photographers but I really like VR and the new Nikon VR version is a real beast - very heavy, takes an 82mm filter and is ridiculously expensive. But I would go with the Tamron (which also takes an 82mm filter but is much smaller and lighter and far less expensive).
