The warranty is usually not transferrable!

I love the lens !! But I now have 2 of these lens'.
It's a long story on how this happened and I prefer not to try and explain it here.
I just feel I have a chance to give someone a really good deal.

I'm interested in the lens, but if you registered the warranty already, it's classified as "used, no warranty" as far as Canon is concerned. That means I won't be able to buy additional insurance and warranty coverage from Canon, as I do for all my other L class lenses.
For that reason (having to add the replacement cost to my photography business insurance), I would be happy to make you an offer for the lens, but I can't pay $1,725 including shipping & call that a good deal... For me!

Sorry, but I can't make $1,650 work for me financially. I can wait until Canon has another refurbished and warranted lens for $1,725, or they offer a $200-$250 discount on this lens at EOY.

This lens is not refurbished. It is only 2 months old. The Canon warranty only covers mfg defects.
