Nice photos. Was the first shot of the glacier taken in Juneau at Mendenhall Glacier? The rest of the photos were taken on the train from Anchorage to Denali/Fairbanks?

The glacier was from the train ride and I was out of range of the PA system to get the location, We got off the train in Denali and was there 3 days. I had a tour or Mendenhall when we were
there in 2004. Alaska has a picture around every corner. Thanks for looking in .

Dis you get on the train in Anchorage or Seward? I'm trying to place the glacier.

We were on the first train from Seward to Anchorage and spent 2 days in Anchorage and the next train from Anchorage to Denali was where I made the picture of the glacier. We spent 3 days in Denali. We then went to Fairbanks by coach and spent 2 days were we had a riverboat tour and a tour to the Arctic Circle and beyond .

I think the glacier is Spencer Glacier between Seward and Anchorage. One summer we took the train from Portage to Spencer and returned that afternoon. That train runs on the weekends so you could go down Saturday,camp and return Sunday. I haven't done it yet, maybe next summer...
