New and I think better edit

I used an amazing thing to help me improve this edit, which I will describe in a later post. For now, I just want to share the image. It's an odd crop, which has nothing to do with the product I mentioned; it is just something I like. But the image itself has begun to have some pop and I personally don't think it is overbaked—one of my better results to date since switching to Lightroom, IMHO.

Can you include the original photo file to make a comparison with the edited file?

Or maybe this is the one:

Yes. This is my favorite.

Humm... I see two things to do... horizontal flip... So the viewer start reading at the curve. Then whack off at the end of the walkway leaving the interesting pattern of the curve walk way and its upright supports.

Yes, spots, well that is the virtue of having interchangeable lenses vs a super zoom... or actually changing lenses... do cameras have dandruff?

No, what's there was in the sky, probably a wisp of cloud in one case. The sensor is clean.

Thanks. The horizontal flip is just not something I do. I'm fine going right to left--maybe because I spend so much time reading Hebrew.

Even if they are not spots on the sensor, they are rather distracting. You might want to consider cleaning them up. The ones near the treeline on the far left look like they should be reflected in the water, but are not. The others just do look like dirty sensor.

aaaa yes, understood... However, if you do for others to see, then when in Rome do as the Romans do. aaa, ya, for nearsighted viewers, blur is a must !

Yeah, I will definitely do that before I print.

That was very kind of you to take the trouble to log back on and say so. Thank you very much!

Thought of that, regardless, still would have gotten rid of them, BTW, it is a nice shot.

Actually, I did remove them last night. As a chess teacher once told me, when you find a good move, look for a better one. The shot definitely looks better now. At my stage of PP skills, I think I have it as good as I can do and I'm happy with it, so I'm ready to print.
