I did a little experiment at July's Spring Ho parade in Lampasas, Texas; I shot exclusively with my Canon T6i with a Tamron 70-300 Di LD zoom lens. Settings were ISO 200, 1/400 sec, f/8, 70 mm. Feedback is welcome; enjoy!

Nice shots! Hard to believe a '55 (?) Pontiac is an antique. What does that make me?

Nice shots and good subject matter. The color is very nice.
But, because you said feedback is welcome, on download it seems each image has the front of the car out of focus and somewhere behind the car in focus. In the first shot the sign to the right of the driver's hand is in perfect focus - the license plate not so much.

That middle shot of the SSK Mercedes is a real classic car! Very good shot.

I noticed that as well; I think my focus may have been just a tad off on those shots...thanks for the feedback!
