Got my first full frame yesterday - D810 with Tokina 24-70 F2.8. Still working through tech details vs my previous DX setup (D7000) but had to try it out. First shot below @ widest aperture (F2.8) and second @ smallest aperture (F22). Third is a post processed HDR from five F8.0 images and last is post processed panarama from six F8.0 images (all cropped and resized as appropriate). Liking everything so far - much better sharpness...no concerns with image size after cropping...quick and reliable focusing...lots of added features. Need to get used to the slower photoshop processing times with a lot larger RAW image sizes.

Love the "white canary" lol, I like the fact that your DOF blurs the background behind him/her. All the emphasis is on the bird! Nice job!

Makes two of us! I'm up for adoption! I don't eat much, house broken, understand simple commands (sit, stay, run, fetch, stop that)!

Great pictures. I upgraded from D7000 to D750 18 months ago and still have fond memories of the first day try out.

Great shots. I too went to a D810 recently from a D7100 and D200. The 36.6Mpxl sensor sure does make a difference especially when cropping. The details that you are now able to capture are unreal. Congratulations on your new camera outfit. Like #s 1 & 2

thanks, totally unexpected shot - he was just sitting there when I pulled into the parking lot and didn't pay much attention to me until after a few shots.

agree - 1 & 2 are better. I like the composition of the HDR one, but, to me, it appears somewhat artificial and grainy. I brought a tripod, but never set it up - it might have made some improvement.
