I just received this camera in the mail yesterday and wonder if anyone else has one? I can't figure out how to get it to shoot one photo at a time. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated...thanks!
I have the Fuji XT2 and love it. Try resetting your camera to user settings and make sure your Driver Settings are set to APSC and that your Driver Settings (in AM MF) is not set to Bracketing). Make sure that you spend plenty of time reading your manual. Finally, watch Tony Northrup's video about setting up your Fuji XT2. This is a wonderful camera and once your learn more about the setting you will enjoy your Fuji since it takes wonderful photos and is very fun to use.
First, congratulations on your surprise delivery! I mean, I assume it was a surprise or else you might have investigated the camera further?
That said, to answer your specific question - there is a dial on the top left of the camera body, sandwiched under the ISO dial, that you can turn to the various shutter settings (Single [S], Continuous Low [CL], Continuous High [CH], Bracket [BKT], etc) - using your forefinger on the front side of that dial you can change the selection. It would seem you are presently in CL or CH; just switch it to S
Creative live has excellent series called fast start. I bought them when I got my X-E2 and X-PRO-2. My friend just got it for the X-T2 and really likes it.
Thank you for your help. I did manage to find it after perusing the manual. I plan on taking it to the zoo this morning and hope to come back with some wonderful shots!

I love my Sonys, but the Fuji is the only worthy MILC competitor. You have a great camera. One of the good things about Fuji is that the controls are easily available and sensibly arranged. I'm sure your answer is in the manual--which is a real manual, not like Sony.
It takes a little getting use to having the controls at your fingertips instead of having to dive into the menus. I have the X-T2 and think it's a terrific camera. Have fun.
