My favorite swans.

I've been following this pair of swans for several years. this year they lost all 7 cignets early on in the season. It was soo sad. I've left them in peace for most of the summer because they looked bedraggled. However they've bounced back and I found them at the end of the pond yesterday. This is a HUGE crop and I was pushing the 100-400 lens for all it was worth, so the photos are not anywhere near as sharp as I would like ( a longer prime will be on my holiday wish list) also I have yet to trouble shoot the problem I have with not blowing out the whites with these birds and or ending up with gray feathers. I use auto white balance, if you have a tip that hasn't registered with me, please feel free to share. Please use the download.

These are lovely. If I had taken them, I would be very satisfied. Well done. Matt

Beautiful shots! You could always try a black/white conversion if you wanted. Solves the brown feathers issue...
