The boat is a private boat leased to Michigan Maritime Museum in South Haven, MI. It takes passengers on short cruises down the Black River and out on the lake. This was the boat used as the Coast Guard motorboat in the 2016 film, "The Finest Hours" about a difficult rescue in 1952 off Nantucket.
I didn't even notice the fly until I magnified the view. I was just trying to get the hydrangea
Firewood will keep us warm all winter - 8-10 cords a season.

Good ones. I saw the "the Finest Hours", great movie. My dad was in the Coast Guard during WWII.

I went with my son on his day off to go down to the lakefront. Lived inland 30 miles for 20 years and never made it to the museum before, so this was a nice surprise. I didn't go .on the boat for fear of seasickness (choppy waters on the lake) but my son went, the only passenger. He got to stay out an extra half hour or so and the two men who volunteer to do the boat rides gave him a personal tour and more details about the rescue and the movie. It's on Netflix right now but I've only gotten up the point where the tanker half was seen by someone. Wonderful story. If you ever come to South Haven in the summer you'll have to go out on the boat.

Ha! I started watching "The Finest Hours" last night! I'll look for that boat.

Three cords of wood get me through the winter.
