So I tried to look on the website. I found detailed instructions for loading updated firmware into your camera, but like you, I found no updated firmware available for download. Since this model was introduced 11 years ago, it is possible that the update was once posted, but has been removed. The next step would be to call the number listed for support and see if someone there could offer assistance.

Judging from the description on the site, you have a really nice camera with lots of features. The good news is that at 5 MP, even a 2 GB card should hold close to 400 images. SD cards were available up to at least 4 GB. (Something in the back of my mind is saying 8, but I don't completely trust that voice.)

I'd suggest just being on the lookout for 4 GB SD cards.

Ha! Ha! Ha! I tried the card and it wasn't compatible at all. The card just rejected the camera completely. Maybe it's time to leave this camera in the dark ages. But I like it. It's simple, and rugged. I dropped it out of a truck one time. It bounced off the steel step, and skidded down the road. Never even touched it! It's great for a quick snap-shot. I'll just put the 2Gb card back in it. Best little camera I ever owned. Thousands of pictures.

Thanks for your suggestions, and don't laugh!!...............Dave

Reminds me of a trip to Alaska when our niece bout a 2 gb sd card for her camera and it wouldn't work, so I traded her a 1 gb sd card and used the 2 in my camera. This was in 2006.
