For those of you that have not been to Las Vegas recently, the old Imperial Palace Hotel is no more. It has been completely remodeled and is now called The Linq. I have visited the auto museum several times and feared that with the change in the hotel, the museum might not survive but to my relief it is still there. The displays have changed with all of the Dusenbergs having been sold but there are still many beautiful cars to look at and photograph. I'll post a few each day and also look back through my files to find the pictures of those Dusenbergs. All of the pictures were taken with a Sony RX100 that fits in the pocket of my shorts.
Sad to hear about the Imperial Palace. One of our favorite places to stay that was cheap and close to most things to see on the strip. Isn't there a new ferris wheel behind where the Imperial Palace was located. I'm gonna miss those purple lights (not).
Thanks for the quick and favorable replies - I hadn't even finished my beer before they came in! And yes, there is now the world's tallest ferris wheel, The High Roller, behind the Linq.
Good shots of these beautiful old cars, Shaun!
