Good news. A slight inconvenience, but the camera travels with the passenger.

It does not change the fact that when arriving in the US from certain airports like the one in Istanbul, cameras have to go into checked luggage. I like the food on Turkish airlines and I will be flying from Tel Aviv to Philadelphia in October with a change of planes in Istanbul, so I bought a Pelican case to put my insured cameras in and hope they won't get stolen.

I don't have a problem with this, but if there are airports that do not allow you to take your gear as a carry-on, I suspect I will not be going there.

No problem with me as long as I can carry my cameras.
