Steampunk Lamp

Wanted to make my Grandson something steampunk. Was fun to make and enjoyed trying to get a decent photo out of it.
Showing my starting point in the first picture. My final picture was done adding a Steampunk background found on line. The lamp was on but didn't show to well in the photo so added a yellow glow around behind firs lamp then duplicated it and added it behind second bulb.
Wanted more yellow in the total picture so copied one of the yellow glows enlarged it to cover most of the picture and toned it down reducing opacity.

Look better in downloads.

Great work, Jim, in both the area of craftsmanship and the area of photography.

I have no idea what steam punk is, however if this is steampunk I like it. I gotta have one on my tricycle when I take my wife for a spin. LOL!
Great work, Jim, as always.

Spent 3 days trying to decide how to shoot and what to do with it in PP.
Thanks

Look it up with Google and you will see many examples. Mine was a simple one all purchased at our local Home Depot / hardware store.
Good to here from you Shakey. I learned so much working on all your previous challenges.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I am going to take it all apart and redo it with additional pieces. Will make a new post with the finished product when done.
