Great job, You nailed the scene right down to the color of the tassels. Is that hybrid corn for feed??
You have to hunt for the deer but if you cropped it you would lose the overall appeal of the scene. Its a capture of real everyday life on the farm.

Welcome to the Hog, bsasser! I love to try to shoot (with a camera!) deer, too, and it's hard to get close ups of 'em. Does your camera have a zoom lens? That would help.
