Crater Lake Waterfall and a crazy chick!

They finally opened the road so we could see the waterfall before we had to leave the lake and wouldn't you know it some crazy chick had to decide to climb it. It was nearly impossible to get shots without her in it then she decided to walk in the darned thing and I thought she was gonna die!!!

Great set in spite of the crazy chick. I wonder if many people "enjoy" the great outdoors while in a stoned condition. We were hiking down the Mist Trail in Yosemite a few years back and there were some young guys leaping from rock to rock above the falls. While I admired their mountain-goat agility, one slip (or one loose rock) would mean probable death, so it seemed pretty stupid.

Great shots, crazy chick and all, but do you not wonder what goes through some peoples head walk the water falls slip, fall, die, and the family sues the park for negligence.

I especially like the way you did not "soften" the water, so that you can see the spray. Very well done. But I think that the chick has too many birds on her antenna.

Beautiful pics! I was there last Sunday afternoon....When I was her age there would have been NO thought of not climbing that falls!
