My lovely bride is so handy and crafty. She took a Tea Candle birdhouse watering can and took fishing line and some beads she had in her craftroom and created this little morsel. Tis cute. The reason I shot it was to work on my focusing and sharpening skills. The flowers are an extra, as I have been experimenting with the camera.
Clever bird house. Nice shots.
Your wife is quite the artist and your photos are quite good

The beads suggest water flowing out, I like that yellow flower.
thank to all for your encouragement and kind replies. I keep learning. Have a restricted bridge camera, so there are a bunch of features that my camera wishes it had.
I love the Magnolia shot with a peak at the beautiful center. Exposure is great! I think your pretty yellow flower is actually a Canna rather than a Daylily.

I thought it was a day lily. I did not ask the wife what it was so I guessed. thank you for those kind words.

Your wife is very clever. And beautiful flowers. As part of your focus practice, may I suggest you get lower, as if on a stool, to make some of your shots. Sometimes shoot from above but you may find better presentation of flower from level with or below a bloom. If you do play with this would like to see a post. Enjoyed and will have to tell my daughter and grands about your wife's creation.
Thanks for the encouragement. Great suggestions.
