If you had to prove an opinion there wouldn't be any, they would all be facts. In my opinion you enjoy disrupting any thread you can. Otherwise you would simply state your opinion, provide information to back it up and leave it at that. No need to let others know you disagree with them. No reason to try to get others to agree with you. Even so called well known pros have disagreements. They don't try to convince each other who is right, they take pictures and let people decide what they like. Maybe you should try that approach.

I'm with the CIB man. I'm here to *learn* and many times I read text that I don't agree with...many of *those* times the thread evolves and I may come around to that contrary post. Civility is necessary on a forum such as this, IMO...

Where is your proof that fuji is superior?

I never said it was. I have Nikons and Fujis. I prefer the Fujis, but I have no opinion regarding "superiority". I only know what I LIKE, and why I like it.

Your opinion is incorrect, not sure why you would think that. ANY thread I can? I would have no time to do anything if that was the case.

I also had an opinion and called the posters claim BS. When Cat replied to me, I provided a link.

Evidently, objective findings don't fly well on UHH.

BTW, the poster didn't read as an opinion, more like a FACT = SUPERIOR.

Isn't it interesting that this forum is full of untalented snapshot shooters who make outrages claims nearly every day?

The truth is, that a big sensor is not going to make you a better shooter. Neither does time. But so many here seem to think that way.

I would like to apologize to the rest of the readers for feeding the troll.

So how very different that is from writing

According to Fuji the X-T2 has an aps-c sensor, not a 4/3. In that lies part of its superiority to the Olympus
- this guy shoots Sony.

My parents and children would argue I was a debater before, during and after. Love a real argument with logical people! Hard to find these days. Few possess a classical education anymore. What passes for argument most places is silly name calling.

Amen. I was lucky enough to hang out with some debaters in college and watch them get into it. One of them was Tony Snow (Fox News, Detroit Free Press, White House Press Secretary under 'Dubya'). You did NOT want to take the contrarian view around him. Interestingly, he was a left-wing radical at Davidson.

Another was sci-fi fantasy author, lawyer, comic collector, and recent UNCC English professor, Nancy Northcott. She was the Yin to Tony's Yang on that team. The team two years behind us beat Oxford in 1979 or '80. I would love to have watched that.

I am really just kidding around and having fun. I will leave it to CatMarley to tell me what sort of logical fallacy I have just used.

I do agree with the general thrust of your comment. A Slazenger racquet would not make me a better tennis player. First learn to get good with the equipment you have got and then move up from there, if you feel the need. If you are already at that stage and you need the technology, even if only occasionally, then that is what you buy. Some things are nice to have and sometimes, whether you need it or not, just having it is important. You spend your money on whatever makes you feel good.

It is sometimes said that the cheapest way to buy technology is two generations old and just keep moving up from there, two steps behind everybody else. I guess that doesn't apply to good quality glass though.

LOL! We're all trolls in some context. UHH is not for the faint-hearted.

So if someone is not in agreement with you, you call that person a troll? Nice! You must be lots of fun in real life.

You just defended someone's opinion who has had no personal experience with either brand. Im sure there must be a logical explanation for that.

Oh, tell me about it! I was on Usenet back in 1993. There were rabid donkeys on crack cocaine lurking as trolls back then. Fortunately, 19.2 Kbps dial-up was too slow to do any real damage...

1992 was the beginning of the end. Before that Usenet was academic in nature. Microsoft discovered it 1996 and that pretty much finished it off.

So true. As soon as AOL and similar services took off, and web browsers came of age, the Internet became the new CB radio.
