Come on down and Buy you a beer and show you a third world city, possibily the largest plantation still in existence, and our slaves are brown.

I'll freely admit to not having been to LA in a while. Is it really that bad or are you looking at a lousy part of it. It is a pretty big city and a huge county. It still has heavy industry, doesn't it? I'm not arguing with you, since you live there that would be silly. I am somewhat surprised though. At least you have the weather.

Well it is not really what you would expect, We have streets downtown and throughout the city that are so bad that you have to avoid the smooth spots, our side walk repair dept is 10 years behind schedule. We have an enormous homeless area just blocks away from the Central Business district that is home to a few thousand Tent and Cardboard box Dwellers that is filthy. Our streets are littered with old furniture and appliances discarded by tenants that do not call for Pick up.

The Southern Ca. area has a very large population of Latinos, both Citizens and Undocumented. Our illegal population as you is know is greater than the population of some states, the illegals are the ones I referred to as slaves. They of course do not think of it that way as they earn in a day than they could earn in a week in their homeland. The only thing wrong is that their willingness to work for Slave wages has depressed wages in some fields so much that those jobs become Jobs that Americans will not do. I worked for the Last Mogul in Hollywood for 30 years, He hired Americans to do the jobs that Americans will not do and paid them well. If we are ready to pay a living wage to Americans then we must do away with our slaves and pay the higher price.

If you ever get down here we share a cup and remissness about our successes and failures in the Building Engineering trade.

Maybe you need to move to Beverly Hills. Or move in next door to Nancy Pelosi or Maxine Waters. Or Governor Moonbeam.

That is where the Boss lived, he had a four acre plot just North of Sunset. Out of my price range. I worked at his Studio for MCA Development and was the chosen one when it came to problems at the home.

There is a saying that you shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you. Next time you get hungry, find out where your money comes from. I can tell you it didn't come from a poor person.

I'm not rich but I'm "All For Me". And my family and people who try to rise up after a tough time in life. If you're a total loser and won't change and take the educational opportunities that are available to you, then I don't care. But don't expect me to support you.
