That blog is really just an advertisement for JAMF.
IMHO Apple had a good laptop with the MacBook Air -- but then they dropped support for it and then stopped producing it. Just my opinion, but Apple has lost its way when it comes to laptops.
Glad I never bought the Trashintosh. Just saying...

Since 1986, I've had both a PC and a Mac at all times. I can say that Win 10 is nice. I even *liked* Win 2000, XP SP3, and 7. The rest were unpleasant experiences, to be kind.
Mac OS, and Mac OS X before the name change, is much more intuitive. The integration with iCloud and iPhone/iPad is amazing. Running Windows and Linux and UNIX apps simultaneously (with a little help from Parallels Desktop) is convenient.
Yes, you can build a cheaper and "more powerful" PC. But you still don't have the Mac experience.
The only way to understand it is to live it. It is a gestalt.
We can agree to disagree. We're really just going to go down a rat hole of your subjective opinion against my subjective opinion.
I much prefer Windows 10.
Enjoy you MacBook Pro!!

Tried one once, had to use it because that is what was there, didn't like it. It wasn't intuitive for me!
To me a "Mac" experience involves a Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a Filet of Fish.
Note, majority of "power users" esp gamers use custom or semi custom PCs. My PC is a semi custom gamer I bought from iBuyPower to edit photos etc in late 2011. A friend has a Mac desktop less than a year old, cost more than my gamer did and is about the same power as my now 6 year old tech. The only changes I have made (3 years ago) were a bigger monitor and a bigger SSD for my C drive. A few months ago I added a third (larger) HDD drive just as a photo data drive.

Desktops rule!!! My home system I built myself. Thermaltake case with an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of ram, a Gigabyte motherboard, and an Nvidia 1080 graphics card. Super upgradeable.
