Pretty nice, better than my horse images from the sidelines at Santa Anita (Arcadia, CA). The only good horse images I have are stagnant ones where the horse is just standing there. Perhaps a couple good running images.

But in #1 & 3 do straighten your horizon (and the posts). The drama of the horse tilting to turn is great and that is the way it really was. There are several ways to level with PP software. If that is your first attempt at shooting motion (of a moving horse), you did really well. Hey, I've been doing Photography for 39 years and probably every forth image I take could be more level. These days I have an excuse, arthritis. It is hard for me to hold my cameras probably these days.

Thank you. Yes was my first attempt with continous to get action. Took a lot of pics with only a couple complaints from the trainer which was my positioning for the shots. The hirse on the poles is mine and with the trainers niece doing the driving. Another show coming up in a week or so so i will get another try and am going to try and use myvown settings instead of auto. Also will get the jumps from the side instead of head on

Your focus seems to be very good. Exposure also seems good. Composition - not so much. Horizons are slanted and maybe some different angles may have been nice, though these angles (head-on) are nicely taken. Overall, I would say you are off to a good start. IMHO.

No. 1 has a horizon problem (not level). No 2 needs to be cropped so the image takes up more of the field of view. Otherwise, nice!!

Awww thank you. You are always so nice. I do have room for improvement but they are mostly for fun right now like the shows
