Thank you! We had fun! I had to shoot at several angles until I found what I was looking for! Got quite a few keepers and we got the fun memories of bubbles after dark!!

He will have a blast! My granddaughter is 5 and staying up after dark in the summer is not something she gets to do often, unless she stays overnight with grandma!! We have little white lights strung up on a canopy and the lights hitting the bubbles created beautiful colors. I used a very slow shutter speed and was handholding the camera, but it was the look I was going for! The first pic was at 2/5 second, the 2nd pic was 1/4 second and the 3rd pic was 1/60 second. Try it with your grandson, he will totally love it and you will get some great shots!

Cool... I like playing with photographing bubbles. My wife is kind of like a big kid when it comes to bubbles, she has several bubble machines and has more fun with them than the grandkids.

Oh how fun! My granddaughters had bubble guns that would shoot out tons of bubbles, unfortunately they managed to break them both and I was unable to find more! I had to rely on my granddaughter blowing the bubbles, and of course the flicking of the wand after she had blown the bubbles! I had to keep shielding my camera and lens from bubble solution! I never knew how fun it would be to photograph the bubbles at night!
