Optical Illusion from iPhone

Took this photo with my phone last week and I've been trying to figure out if the left and right sides are parallel. Obviously it was the angle I took it at that created the illusion and yes all sides are parallel. Don't stare too long!

I have one similar to that that I took of the corner of a tall building. cool effect.

Seems you've answered your own question.
You first ask - 'if the left and right sides are parallel'?
Then you say - 'yes all sides are parallel.'

The surface is not perfectly flat. There appears to be a bump in the far right corner. In plan view the sides will not be parallel.
