Outstanding photo. We have loons on Ashley Lake in Montana. I haven't had the opportunity to get up close and personal like you were able to do.

Awe...looks like dad was trying to entice his little one with a tiny fish. The babies mouth being open suggests that feed me was his first priority. Sweet picture.

Aw!! Very good picture! I watched a loon family like that on a lake about a year ago. Could never get close enough for pix.

Great shot. I know some 40 year old "kids" that have the same problem where I live - still living with Mom and Dad and getting fed and taken care of........
