Excellent shot Gregory.
Thanks so much angler, always appreciate your kind comment
Lovely portrait, Greg, of one of my favorite little herons. They certainly do love fiddler crabs.
Excellent shot. Greg. I loved it.
Nice pose, gorgeous detail, great color match with the background.
That is a tack sharp, beautiful close-up of that Tri-colored Heron. Very nicely done. By the way that 400mm Canon f/5.6 non-stabilized lens you were using, is definitely one of my favorites. I use mine quite often.

It has become my walk around lens in the Everglades and Big Cypress. I only run into problems with it is when I am on the flats and the birds come up to me and walk along side and I have to maove backwards so that I can get the lens to focus. But like you, I love it. Thanks so much for your kind comment

Thanks so much Lame-Duck really appreciate your kind comment. The 400 has become my walk around lens in the Everglades and Big Cypress. I only have a problen when I am on the flats and the birds walk with me and get too close, then I have to move backwards to focus. But that is a little problem I am happy to have.
