I attach a recent photo of elephants emerging from the Chobe River, Botswana. Taken at 1/2000th sec at f/5.6, 150mm focal length, ISO 1250, with a Nikon D750 and a Tamron G2 150-600mm lens. It is cropped from a 3:2 to a 5:7 ratio, but otherwise full frame. It was taken at 5:24 pm, shortly before the sunset time.
This is my favorite elephant photo from the trip so far. It is the one I expect to print and frame.
Enjoy.

Excellent!.
What size will you frame the photo?
Dave
They are magnificent looking creatures. Nice capture.
Thank you. With this photo I may quit taking elephant photos while I am ahead!

I usually use a 16x20 frame, so I will do one at 10x14. The file is good, so I may do one larger--perhaps up to 20x30 without a crop. Thanks for looking!

Thank you. They are stunning in the wild. Will be hard to see them in zoos from now on.

All of the sizes are great, as are the subject matter!

A magnificent scene, it will be spectacular printed and hanging on your wall...memories for a lifetime!
Stunning!! Hard to stop looking at it!
Congratulations. Damn good picture.
Please repost it with "store original" clicked. I would love to see it in downloard.
Just a thought. It's such a great shot as is but have you considered cropping or shopping the third elephant out?
Also I'm not in any way knowledgeable of eliphants, but I might guess the closest one is pregnant. To me that adds some symbolism to the two elephants theme. Just my thoughts. Still an outstanding shot and I'm going back to gaze at some more.

Thanks. Here is an 8x10 treatment for comparison.
