If you go to the top of this page you will see Main Photography Discussion just above "Presidential Election" - that tells us which section this topic was posted in. There are some people who read only photography-oriented material, and they shouldn't have to navigate around this mis-placed thread.

Don't get emails .
When I click on uhh link. Takes me to watched topics. Emails just junk you don't need.
Don't need notifications they will be there when I get back on site.

I stopped getting the daily and any other notification emails. But like you I assume my browser link to this site will get me here so I do not miss the email. But to get to the "Upcoming Topics (from all sections)" heading just click on the link at the bottom of this page to "Latest Digest" and it will be at the top of that page. And I think because it is labeled "from all sections" even if you don't subscribe to a Section you still might see items you are not subscribed to. [But this should have not started out in Main Photography Discussion.]

If you look at the top of this page, you will see that Main Photography Discussion has been replaced by The Attic {so it will no longer show up in digests}. Considering the topic, that may have been inevitable had we ever discussed that topic - but that discussion has never happened. My personal experience is that starting a thread in Main Photography Discussion that belongs in General Chit-Chat (non-photography talk) is giving the thread an express ticket to The Attic.
