I can't understand why there are so many people in this forum that won't take paypal. Thoughts?

They don't understand it, and they don't want to lose money. You don't have to join to get paid. All you have to do is have an email address, and the money comes to you, minus the PP fee. The payer can add a certain percentage so the recipient gets the amount he wants. Excellent system. Isn't that how Elon Muck got so rich - selling PayPal?

I didn't know he owned PP. Interesting. And since E-bay bought it, I'm sure he got rich quick. Also, you can send money free to friends or relatives. No fee for that.

I had big trouble with it when it started up and took a bunch of time to resolve several major issues. Recently decided to sell some stuff on the Pentax forum and found out PayPal was the only way to do so. After a lengthy phone call to square my 10+ year-old account away, have used it to my complete satisfaction. Also started buying again from fleabay as they have lots of camera equipment for sale. Have bought/sold to Canada with no problems.
