I'm so sorry to hear of your injury, Regis. Dark tunnels somehow don't seem like a very good place to be riding. The good news is that you have a backlog of excellent shot to fall back on until you are recovered!
Thank you very much, Carol. My 10 year old granddaughter zipped right through without any problems. Aaahh, to be young again.

so sorry about your crash regis...it's difficult riding a bike through a long dark tunnel...i hope you were wearing a good helmet...
i was riding my bike through a tunnel a while back and my tires slipped on a wet place and down i went...landed on my side and
my head crashed down on the pavement...i am so thankful i had a good helmet on my head that i had purchased at the bicycle shot.
i had a really bad headache but i was alive...lol. sounds like a fun bike ride with your daughter and granddaughter.
Sorry to hear about the injury; it hurts to even think about it. I hope you're back at it soon.
Nice work on these earlier shots you posted.
Excellent, thanks for the settings. Sorry about your arm.
Get well soon, Regis. I particularly like the flicker pic. So sharp and clear.

Very good set Regis, I hope you have a complete recovery.
Of course you have back up for emergencies! And these are well taken, detailed and sharp,of course! So sorry you'll be out of commission with that mishap? Can you blame the Montana earthquake? I hear the shake was quite widespread, all the way to Spokane. Heal well, my friend!

Thank you very much, merrytexan. At 73, I thought I could jump on a bicycle (I haven't rode one in 15 years) and zip through the 10 tunnels without
a problem. But, the first 1.7 mile long tunnel did me in. I did okay with the rest of the tunnels even though I was bleeding fairly bad (a kind woman gave me her
scarf to wrap around my elbow). Not knowing how bad the wound was, we continued on our 15 mile journey. 4 hours later at the urgent care center, they dug out the
gravel and dirt and put in 12 stitches. Some infection incurred, but I am doing better now. Stitches will be taken out next Wednesday.
My 10 year old granddaughter cried when I fell down because I didn't move for about 1 minute. It could have been a lot worse if I
had fallen on my head. I have to remind myself that I am not a kid anymore. There is a no fool like an old fool.
