You all are aware that the recall was issued in 2012, are you not? I suppose some of those batteries are still out there, but I suspect not very many at this date.

Actually, if you look at the recall, it is updated as of June 2017...

Yep, you're right, but the wording is the same. Same lot numbers. I suppose it can't hurt to check your batteries, particularly if you got them separately from the camera.

Thanks for that. I have only one in the recall, but it will be nice getting a brand new one.

Whoops! The "E" on my battery is off by one spot, so I guess I don't get a new battery.

Yep... its the NINTH character that counts....there is an additional link in the notice that will allow you to input the battery number and it will confirm it.
