We recently had a program in our photography club where the members took an average photo and converted it into a "Wow" photo. We explained the post processing we used.
Hope you like. I thought the after was quite a bit overdone but the members of the club liked it.
My best,

In my opion, I think it is overdone. I think I would like it if not processed so much. Doesn't look natural to me. Remember, this is just my opion, if you like it, that is all that matters.
Not my taste, but if that's the effect you wanted then I'll say well done.
I agree. Feel it is too much.
Thanks for your replies.

like it the way you edited it. Not meant to be realistic.makes you stop and ponder, just what the heck is that thing? to me realistic is way overated.
I like it. It is creative, artistic, and you certainly met the club's assignment. . .there is a WOW factor with this image.
Would make a wonderful very large wall hanging. At least 30 or 40 inches, on a full wrap canvas.
Well done.

I like it alot. It looks like a painting. I think it would be neat printed on canvas. This is art, who says it has to look "real".
Reminds me of an oldish painting in oils, I like it
Much more Wow than the original. Over done, maybe, but that is what transforms it and draws your attention to it.
I agree with you...overdone.
But the original was blah...so for my particular taste...something in the middle would have been good.
Thanks again to all who have replied. Guess it comes down to either you like something or you don't.
I think they both belong in a gallery.

As a photograph the 'after' image is over cooked. However, as an artistic image it is striking and different. I go with those who suggest mounting and displaying. Nice job!
