I'm looking for a good bag to carry 2 DSLR's and 3 lenses for each plus misc stuff. Anybody have any suggestions?

The Lowepro Magnum series shoulder bags are the strongest shoulder bags I have ever handled. They have a one-piece molded bottom that is strong and can take a lot of weight. I have the Magnum 200 AW bag. It's a fairly large bag. The 400 AW and 650 AW are even larger. They have a rain cover that pulls out of a pocket. Here is how they describe the capacity of the bags.

Lowepro Magnum 200 AW 1 Pro DSLR 4-5 lenses
Lowepro Magnum 400 AW 1-2 Pro DSLR, 7-9 lenses
Lowepro Magnum 650 AW 1-2 Pro DSLR, 9-11 lenses

Lowepro, Think Tank, Tamrac and others make good bags. Two DSLRs and six lenses really isn't much information. If you use big telephotos that will be different than if you shoot wide angle and portrait lenses.

Shoulder bags can get very heavy on the shoulder. Back pack style are easier to carry but a little harder to access. The exception is if you work out of a vehicle. I use a large backpack in my Jeep because when you open the flap everything is accessible in one layer.

The Tamrac is empty and is taller than it looks., It can easily hold a 300mm vertically. The side pockets can hold small lenses. The front pocked accessories and a rear compartment desigened for external flash.

The smaller backpack was airline OK a few years ago, but I have no idea now. It can hold a 500mm with no camera attached. The larger can handle the 500 with the body attached. Both backpacks came with smaller packs that could be attached to the back. The larger one came with additional cushioned lens pouches that attach to the sides and a way to carry a large tripod.

There are lots of choices and no bag is the best for everyone.

Make sure she is strong enough to carry all that weight.

I have the Lowpro 400 magnum. Very versatile and can be used with two rollers, or as a backpack plus it fits in the overhead on the plane. I quickly ran out of space with the smaller bag. Hold lots of gear!

Those makes are probably the toughest camera bags around. You can't go wrong with these makes.

Just another pitch for the LowePro products, I'm sure the others are good too but I've had two LowePro bags; I still have one and gave the other to my son. The quality is excellent and they are not expensive. The zippers are smooth and never snag, the material feels good and they are comfortable.

Think Tank bags are very expensive but are extraordinarily well made and will last you a lifetime. After seeing a TT in a local store I ordered a LowePro with similar specs in an effort to save money. For the price it was a decent bag but didn't really compare. I sent it back and bought the TT at the shop.
