Taken on a trail in the mtns. Would like to explore this option more. Think it would be nice in the fall with all the colors.
All I can say is, Wow! These are stunning, Sandy! That first shot could definitely be a book cover or a beautiful wall hanging. I just love all of the curves which draw the eye into the scene. The softness of these shots just blows me away! I'm such a fan of the larger apertures. I've never shot landscapes with my Velvet, but I think I'm going to have to start real soon. Thanks for sharing!

i love the first one sandy, and as soon as i finish my book i hope you will let me use your picture for the cover.
i think the title of my book is going to be shooting adventures with sandy in the wilds of georgia...pictures included.
i probably need a better more catchy title though...lol.

How about "Shooting with Crazy Old Ladies", "Crazy Hat Lady shoots with Spacey Friend", or "Shooting with the Jailbirds"? Did I tell you I got thrown out of the sunflower farm. I am sitting on my campstool, clicking away at just before dark and I hear from across the way, "Lady, I really need to go eat my supper. Can you come back tomorrow?". Think it embarrassed Jack. He had been patiently sitting in the car reading while waiting on me. You do tend to lose time when engrossed in good shooting.

lol...those titles are all great possibilities! it does seem like we often meet up with a deputy in interesting places. lol.
I think we should leave the "old" out of the title though...I like age challenged better. anyway...no way are we just what you said!
I have to ditto, ditto Jane and Donna....
Gorgeous effect and love the first shot... it really just draws me in and I want to walk down the path of this dream!!!
Sandy, Velvet 56 is a very versatile lens and works wonders on landscapes... can't wait to see your fall shots!!!
...I like the second shot and also think it might make a wonderful texture for another image!!
I love the first shot also! I can't wait to get my hands on one of these lenses!
