Our friend and fellow Hogger, SoHilGuy, shared his OOC shot of this pond and wanted to see what other Hoggers could do with it. This is what I came up with ...

Nice work! That definitely feels like a genuine night scene. I like your addition of the mist and the moon, streetlights. Very good. And I think you did well with the car lights. In the day scene the car is a distraction but in the night scene the car and lights form an important part of the the composition.

Thanks JD, glad you like it. I enjoy trying to see if a night time scene works with pics like this. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I'm hoping others will add their own post work to this image, so I can see what they are thinking.

Very creative and fun to view, Don. We've had a couple of occasions in FYC to talk about how to do night-time from day. If you have a moment to give an overview of your process, I know it would be much appreciated!

That's something I could put together. I'll see if I can put it together tomorrow ... time permitting. We're having some friends and family over for the 4th and I volunteered to cook. ;-)
