I'm waiting for my son to arrive, sitting in the bar area of a restaurant and the colors against the dark background catch my eye first. And then I see the tap handles and am intrigued by the pictures on them.
An interesting study of contrastng colors, sizes and shapes, Carlysue. I really like it. Sharing quality time with our children as adults is one of the greatest joys in life.

thank you so much,John, I'm thrilled that you caught this and let me know. And I agree about sharing time with my adult children. I have 2, a son and a daughter, and they each have one daughter, so I know their time is valuable and they are busy. So I do cherish these "dates" that I get to have with them, just one on one. Both are fun and bright and opinionated (and not usually of the same opinion as mine!). Thank you for your thoughts on this image, John, always welcomed and appreciated.

Thank you so much,Linda. I'm glad it caught your eye and allowed you to linger a bit. So glad you enjoyed. Amazing what you see when you have time to just sit and observe the spaces around you.

Pat, I am so glad to see you! We both have been around this site almost from the beginning, I think! Thank you for checking this out and posting, I appreciate that so much!
I took a few minutes to check out your recent series of Santa Clara and was impressed. That brown crested flycatcher is a fantastic image with beautiful color, as is the Green Jay. I loved the rabbit, especially looking at it's reflection in the pool of water. Had to be an enjoyable trip for the two of you.
I am also taken with your BobWhite Quail. I was thinking this bird was near extinction, but perhaps that's just the Northern BobWhite. they've been pretty scarce here.
Fascinating and very colorful image Carlysue. I like it a lot.
