I had a very fun week of photo shooting at one of our local ponds this week.
Image #1 is a Black Crowned Night Heron
Images #2 & #3 show a fun little fun family of Kingfishers
Image #4 is a Great Blue Heron
Image #5 is a Zebra Dragonfly

All shots were taken with SX50 camera.

Thanks for the nice comment Carol. I was fortunate to find this family of Kingfishers. The family total is 2 adults and 3 youngsters. I suspect the youngsters are very close to fending for themselves pretty soon.
It has been a fun opportunity watch the family activities.

A very nice set Phil. I appreciate the downloads. The two Kingfishers facing us are males, was the third one a male as well? It is a fairly rare sighting in my experience. Good job of documenting it!
