Doing some "house" cleaning and found these old scans of old, not so good slides from 1969. Inside my avatar and parked for the evening - somewhere in the Highlands. I am sure there are more, if I can find them.

What kind of vehicle in the first 2 pix? I have a couple of hundred slides I took when I was in the service - I should really scan them - thanks for the inspiration.

M-48A3. This variant was only used in RVN

Ken - thanks - I was a commo sgt in a tank battalion in Germany (66-67) and I thought it might have been an M-60 - didn't come across the M-48A3 there or when I was in Armor school in Knox. Have a great weekend. Mike

DaividJon, Thanks for this, while it is a bit north, actually it looks like the terrain around Ben Het, it looks like "home".
