"Quiet City" is one of Aaron Copland's most evocative compositions. It captures those moments when a city is most accessible and most willing to reveal itself to a camera. I could almost hear the English horn and muted trumpet playing as I wandered around for about ninety minutes early Sunday morning.

If you've never heard Copland's "Quiet City" do so. With that echoing in my brain capturing the early morning city was almost a snap. Extraodinary music.
