I really doubt he's a "bad parker".
More likely, he is a "special parker".
After a few months of living in Mass., where the population density is way too high, we started using terms like "special person" and "special driver" for those self-absorbed persons who act as though the world was created specifically for them. In this case, most like s/he is parking that way to protect her/his car from being dinged by someone who parks "too close".
Also known as the I don't give a hoot parker's.....

Seen it many a time over here, usually in a Supermarket car park, where they know Traffic Wardens don't patrol.

We had a guy that parked like that at a place I worked, we broke him of it, we parked a bus on both side so close he could eve get between the bus and his car.

I gotta pick up some sidewalk chalk next time I'm at a garage sale.
And some people think nothing of slamming their doors open dining other vehicles. My guess is with a Buick they want to save the body work.
Morons like that should just ride the bus!

We would ALL like to save our body work, but most of us know that we live in a society with resources that need to be shared. A "special" parker most likely is a narcissist who does not think rules apply to them. They are most likely an arrogant, obnoxious person, although these personality types are sometimes charismatic and attract hangers-on.
Funny. If I'm concerned about other cars being too close, I park far away. I've also learned to fold my mirrors in when I park.

Hmmm, run a chain from the tie down hooks under this person's car and around the trailer hitch (assuming you have one) or the tie down eyes on the back of your car and drag the car to a new location in a correct parking spot at the back of the lot. So what if it damages his transmission and or parking brake. NOTE: people like that probably don't set the brake anyway. But they might have to buy a new transmission. Hmmm maybe a Triple A call for a wrecker? lol
I have witnessed many times stout people, who are too large to exit sanely, kick open their doors to exit their vehicle with no regard for a vehicle parked next to them.

That sounds nice but it could get costly when you end up in court for wrecking the persons transmission. Even if they are parked wrong the law would take a dim view of your proposal. Better to file that under, "Things I would like to do but better pass on."
