In Photoshop CC this tool is not working correctly. When I try to drag to the right, as I may be cropping, it will stop half way and then go to a different place. Anyone have any ideas?

A follow up to the previous post: When I drag the tool left to right it fails to work correctly. After it starts it will stop and usually leave a smaller selection. When I drag the tool right to left it works ok. This problem just started recently. And I have changed nothing.

Zoom out, expand your window to show the pasteboard all around your image and re drag
