We have fondly dubbed our Hill Country Home 5Buck Ranch for several reasons not the least of which is the number of buck deer seen at any one time in the front yard. So for this series, I've decided to share with you my normal morning as I go out to the front porch to enjoy my morning cup of coffee and the beauty of being awake at that time of morning. I've started with a fairly typical sunrise, progressed to the view from the front porch, and then the wildlife captures as they came into the yard this particular morning. I hope you enjoy these and please try the downloads.

Very nice, Jim. It's so cool that the deer are relatively unafraid!

Thanks Carol and even though they are definitely wild creatures they are in fact relatively unafraid. Thanks for the visit and comment my friend.

Thanks Randy, that's how it was in Florida with the squirrels; but here the great mother has things a little more in balance..for every hungry squirrel, there is a least 1 hungry hawk--the deer are holding their own against the coyotes pretty much so they are prospering but they all look very healthy and that's a good thing. Thanks again for looking my friend and keep the faith.
