We lucked out that day with the sky, even though the weather was really hot and it put a damper on our hike!

Thanks Donna, glad you enjoyed!! This park is so beautiful and these stables are in use.... it's in a very, rich area of LI and as Boberic said, houses go for millions! We didn't walk that long because of the heat, so my pictures are limited.

I hope you are able to do a revisit in the fall, but to really experience HOT, just try spending some time in Houston in mid-summer.
