Calling all Insect aficionados

An insect I found today, that I've never seen before. I have no idea what species it is. Anybody else have a clue? This pic is zoomed in pretty far and then cropped. In other words, it's a small insect. Less than 1/4" long.

I think it is one of the ground beatles (carabidae) but I don't know which.

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked up ground beetles and the closest thing I could find was the Asian long-horned beetle. It's not quite an identical match though, unless the one I found is not fully developed.

I found one image that matched yours but it was not IDed beyond carabidae.

Thanks for looking. I searched for insects with sword-shaped heads. I thought that might narrow it down, but I came up empty. Thanks again.

I figured out what the insect was. It is a young Spotted Lantern Fly. They are not very attractive when their wings are closed but they are very pretty with the wings open. They are very destructive insects. Here is an adult.
