I took this photo of this bird on my "Mexican Bird of Paradise" last week and I can't locate it in my bird watchers book I have for Arizona birds.
I would like to add the information on my photo site:
https://fountainhillsphotos.blogspot.comThank You
The photo was taken with Nikon D5500 camera
Lens Nikon DX AF-S 55-300mm 1:4.5-5.6 G ED VR Lens
Setting: 300mm Shutter 1/640 Aperture f/5.6 ISO-800
Thank you, you were correct. My book did't do it justest. My photo is much better than the ones I pulled up on internet.
I guess there is three common pigment types:
Melanins (browns, blacks, some yellows)
Carotenoids (some reds and yellows)
Porphyrins (some reds or browns).
Beautiful shot of this pretty little bird, dukeoferal!
