Thank you everyone for your input. I thank maybe I got it narrowed down to the canon
70D or the 80D and the Nikon 7200. I have had a few people tell me that the Nikon P900 is a great camera if you don't want to lug around a bigger camera.Thanks again

While the 7D is faster, the 80D is almost as fast and is newer and less expensive than the 7D MK II (. The 80D has phase detection auto focus for live view and video, a major improvement. The 80D has Interval Recording, Wi-Fi, and a touchscreen, swivel display.
On the other hand, the 7D is a nice camera if those features aren't important.
