The Iphone 6s can shoot 4K video. What do I need to watch those 4K footage on my 4K TV?
I have Windows PC. My TV has HDMI. It won't play 4K via USB.

It's an android TV. I can watch 4K contents on youtube with it. I don't want to upload my video to youtube. I has chromecast also.

google this phrase:

mirror iphone 6s to chromecast

That should give you lots of options.

Good luck

I am assuming that your goal is to move your footage from you phone to PC for editing and then be able to play the final video in 4K on your TV. If you are trying to play directly off your phone, I don't have a clue or any suggestions.

I was surprised to learn that it was not until the 2016 4K TV models that 4K USB play was included.

It would seem that the HDMI connection from your PC would mirror the PC screen to the TV in whatever the PC screen has. If the PC screen is 4K that would be good. But, most PCs are closer to HD than 4K. Maybe your graphics card would sort it out and send 4K to the TV while the PC remains at HD.

You might need something like the Roku Ultra. It has a USB port that should read 4K MP4s. I don't have one, but this spec sheet suggests it will work. https://www.roku.com/products/roku-ultra You should be able to copy your MP4s to a thumbdrive, plug it in and play.

Another choice might be a new 4K Blu-Ray player with USB ports, but there aren't very many of those yet.

My PC monitors and video card do not support 4K. I have 2 1600x1200 monitor. I do have a laptop that I can use (but it's not mine) that I can use the TV as monitor in 4K. Now the question is there a cheap software to edit 4K video? I don't want to spend much installing it on a computer that is not mine.

There are several under $100. Sales come and go. My favorite is Premiere Elements, but not because it is so much better than the others. I think the online training available for Premier Elements is better than the rest. Others are Cyberlink PowerDirector, Corel VideoStudio and Magix Vegas Movie Studio. The two free ones are Windows Movie Maker (which is becoming harder to get) and Apple iMovie. There is a version of DaVinci Resolve that is free.

I know that Premiere Elements works well with 4K.
